Before we get to know you, take a moment to learn a bit about Dr. Katie Riesenberg and our growing dental team in North Myrtle Beach.
Passion, care, and integrity are what Dr. Katie Riesenberg offers to all her patients. Since five years old, she knew she wanted to be a dentist and bring personal, hands-on care and empathy to an industry surrounded by trepidation. Her goal is to remove the commercialism and stigma that come to mind when thinking of going to the dentist and instead bring warmth and thoughtfulness – all while helping patients love their smiles.
Through continued education, Dr. Katie brings the most advanced procedures to her practice. Her advanced training includes placing implants, completing root canals, and limited orthodontic treatment, highlighting a few. She has been practicing in the Myrtle Beach area since 2019. Prior, she worked in Cincinnati OH.
Dr. Katie completed her undergraduate degree in Zoology at Miami University, followed by a Master of Science in Anatomy at Wright State University, and completed Dental school at Midwestern University. Because she believes in continuous learning, she furthered her education and clinical experience by completing a residency in General Dentistry at the VA hospital in Dayton, OH.
Dr. Katie loves all things about the beach – that coupled with her love for dentistry is how and why Beachside Smiles came to life. She spends her time away from work reading a good book at the beach, trying different workouts, and practicing Yoga. She proudly supports Myrtle Beach Bowl’s youth bowling league and local veterans.
